1 He is Lord, he is Lord,
he is risen from the dead and he is Lord
every knee shall bow, every tongue confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord.
2 To remain in control
Christs did not consider something to be held.
But he took the form of a human child,
more servant than a lord.
3 For our sins Jesus died,
taking on our blame and shame upon a cross.
Then God lifted Christ to the highest place,
that we could name our Lord.
4 He is Lord, he is Lord,
he is risen from the dead and he is Lord
every knee shall bow, every tongue confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord.
