1.God, hear my prayer, my voice attend.
From ends of earth to you I send
my supplicating cry,
when troubles overwhelm my breast;
then lead me to the rock to rest
that’s higher far than I.
2.A refuge you have been for me,
a tow’r against the enemy—
my fortress strong and true.
Within your house I will abide,
and underneath your wings will hide,
forever safe in you.
3.For you, O God, my vows have heard;
you gave to me the heritage
of those who fear your name.
A long life for the king secure,
and may his years fore’er endure
from age to age the same.
4.Enthroned fore’er before his God,
send love and truth to be his guard,
preserving him each day.
So I will ever sing your name,
a song of praise from day to day,
that I my vows may pay.
