The prophets came to Israel
to tell them what to do.
They pointed to the birth of Chris,
and what they said came true,
and what they said cam true.
In Bethlehem in a cattle stall
a miracle we find:
that such a lowly place should hold
the Savior of mankind,
the Savior of mankind!
The shepherds watched their flock of sheep
when light broke from the sky.
They heard a dazzling angel say,
""A child is born nearby,
a child is born nearby.""
The angels sang a midnight song,
their eyes were filled with joy:
""The Son of God has come to earth
to be a little boy,
to be a little boy.""
It's Christmas Day! We celebrate
the coming of a king.
He came to set his children free,
and that is why we sing,
and that is why we sing.
