1 I believe in God the Father;
mighty, yet the fount of love;
Maker of the whole creation,
earth below and heaven above.
I believe in Jesus Christ,
His only Son before all time;
all authority is His,
our Lord and Savior, Word divine.

2 He stepped into time and history,
by the Spirit was conceived;
born in flesh of Virgin Mary,
humble servant who believed.
Jesus suffered under Pilate,
and was cruelly crucified;
entered death which was our sentence;
ours the sin for which He died.

3 To the dead He then descended,
entering to claim His own;
leading forth a host of captives,
casting Satan from his throne.
On the third day Christ arose,
triumphant over death's domain;
first-fruit of the New Creation,
victor over Satan's reign.

4 He ascended into heaven,
and sits at the Father's hand;
for our lives He's interceding,
till on earth He takes His stand.
Jesus Christ will come again
to judge the living and the dead;
then the world will be made right with
Jesus as our living head.

5 I believe the Triune God is
Father, Holy Spirit, Son;
I believe the Holy Spirit
is with them forever one.
I believe there is one holy
church for whom Christ bled and died;
Saints throughout the world and time
who share communion as His bride.

6 Wondrous gift of sins forgiven,
purchased at a costly price;
freely must be given to others,
honoring Christ's sacrifice.
I believe that we will rise with
bodies new forevermore;
living in a New Creation
with the God whom we adore.

Updated Format! Beginning in November of 2016, we changed the way we formatted our PowerPoint files. The font is larger and the staff lines are bolder, making the songs easier to read from a greater distance, including smaller screens/monitors in the rear of the sanctuary.

All songs digitized previous to that date are in the "older" format.
