Hear the voice of Jesus calling
Who will go and work today
Fields are white and harvests ready
Who will bear the sheaves away
Loud and long the Master calls you
Rich reward He offers free
Who will answer gladly saying

If you do not cross the ocean
And a distant land explore
You can find the pagan closer
And the needy at your door
Though your talents may be meager
Offer up the things you can
And whate'er you do for Jesus
Will be useful in His hands

Standing high on Zion's wall
Pointing men to find the Savior
Who is life and peace to all
With your gifts and intercessions
You can do as He commands
Joining with all faithful spokesmen
Serving Him in distant lands

There is nothing I can do
While a world of men is dying
There's a work God calls you to
Gladly take the task He gives you
Let His will your pleasure be
