1 O praise the LORD! Praise God within
His sanctuary–praise!
Praise Him throughout His mighty heaven;
O praise His name always.
2 Praise Him for all His mighty deeds,
His acts of power strong.
His greatness is most excellent–
to Him all praise belongs.
3 Praise Him with the bold trumpet sound;
praise Him with harp and lute;
Praise Him with tambourine and dance,
with strings and pipes and flute.
4 Praise Him with clashing cymbals loud–
with cymbals that resound.
Let everything that breathes now praise
the LORD–let praise abound!
