And spark increased desire!

To sing a joyous song
A tongue to praise the crucified
Now living Lord of all!
Oh for an ear to hear again,
To hear God's greatest news
An ear that hearkens to the bliss
Of resurrection truth!
Oh for an eye to see again,
To see with greater sight
An eye to probe the sacred page
And view the risen Christ!
Oh for a faith to trust again,
To trust my God unseen
A faith that clings to Him alone,
Who died and rose for me!
Oh for a joy to live again,
To live a fearless life
A joy that know all things are well;
My Jesus is alive!
